The Aloe Vera is not unknown and is often featured in home and interior magazines. The Aloe Vera is especially known for its healing juice. The natural substances from the juice of the Aloë Vera are very good for the skin and are used in sun block, aftersun and skin cream. It also helps with eczema and is the best remedy for a burnt skin. Aloe Vera is also used in yoghurt and juice because it is said to have a calming effect on the stomach. The plant is super strong and practically immune to diseases, and is therefore really easy to care for.
Care The Aloe Vera is a succulent, also called a succulent, just like the cactus. This means that the Aloe stores water in its stem and leaves for later use. Therefore, water the plant only when the soil is really dry again. In summer it can take up to a week before it is necessary to water again, in winter the plant goes into hibernation and often only needs watering once a month. The plant does not have high requirements in terms of location, although it prefers a spot in semi-shade.
Size The plants have a height of 25-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 10.5 cm.
