Hydrangea paniculata 'Early Harry' is a very early flowering panicle hydrangea. It grows about 100 to 150cm tall and has rich blooms with large creamy white to soft pink flowers. The beautiful flowering starts in May and can continue until July. The white flowers take on a soft pink glow as time passes. The dark green leaves make the flowers stand out even more. In autumn, the leaves turn yellow before the hydrangea loses its leaves for the winter. The Early Harry is just as happy in the open ground as in a large pot, making it perfect for any size and type of garden.
Care
Hydrangeas do not like drought and need a lot of water, especially in summer. It is best to give the hydrangea a lot of water at once rather than a little every now and then. It can be planted from March to mid-October, either in the open ground or in an ornamental pot, although it grows best in the open ground. When planting, keep a distance of 75 cm between plants. Pruning the plant is best done in March, about 30 cm above the ground. The harder you prune back the hydrangea, the larger the flowers will grow.
Size
The plant has a height of 25-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 19cm.
